Having just sold our car, we priced out renting one for the duration of our trip (3 weeks and over 2,000 miles), and it would have been far too expensive. We opted to rent an in-state vehicle and drive the near-1100 miles all the way to Miami then to Key West, just to say we got as far south as we possibly could!
One of Graham’s goals was to get to a Cracker Barrel; fourteen states later, we *finally* made it.
Graham has a friend who moved from Edmonton to Miami Beach (smart, if you ask me) for work. We stayed with H and were seriously spoiled. We were greeted with a homemade typical Cuban meal, and H gave us her bedroom for the weekend we visited. This was our view:
See? Super spoiled.
Unfortunately, the one full day we were there, it happened to rain. We still went for a walk though!
The morning we took off, it got nice again!
H’s love of animals is clearly present in her house. Here are the furry friends that lived with us. No doubt
we I needed photoshoots of them, too! I leave you with awesome pictures of a few animals.
Cutest, most ferocious kitten you ever did see!
