Quebec City

The drive to Quebec City was gorgeous!

After arriving to our airBnB house (we had a phenomenal host – ask me for details!), we walked to the Parc du Bois-de-Coulonge. The colours were so vivid with the way the sun was setting, everywhere we looked was beautiful.

The next day, we walked to, and explored, Old Quebec. We walked through the the Battlefields Park (made up of the Plains of Abraham and the Des Braves Park).

Here's a German gun captured during WWI.

Then we walked through the Porte St. Louis gate to get to Old Quebec. Did you know Quebec City is the only remaining fortified city in North America (north of Mexico and St. Augustine, Florida)? Now you know.

Not the greatest picture as we were in the car, but the sunset was phenomenal that night!
